Hi, I'm Judy.
From a very young age, I loved creating stories, acting them out, and imagining dramatic declarations of love, long before I probably should have been.
I always dreamed of writing a romance novel that my daughter wouldn't be embarrassed to read. I love the Regency era because its strict social expectations force people to choose between duty and authenticity, fear and courage, resentment and forgiveness. It's the perfect setting to explore timeless truths of faith. My hope is that readers come away with not only a satisfying romance, but also a reminder of the power of hope, healing, and second chances.
My family and my faith are the greatest blessings in my life. When I'm not at my keyboard, you'll most likely find me volunteering with my Special Olympics team, the Salt Lake Stars.
The Earl's Ultimatum is my debut novel and reflects my love of Regency-era storytelling, emotionally rich character journeys, and heartfelt romance. I hope you enjoy it.
Judy Hut grew up in Cottonwood Heights and graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Speech Communication. Professionally, she works to strengthen communities through service and volunteerism. Judy lives in Salt Lake City with her husband. They have a daughter and son-in-law.
